Exhibition at the University of California San Diego, 9. October 2015
The Immersive Lab was shown to the public on the 9. October with a talk and guided tours in the Performative Computing Lab of the CalIT2/Qualcomm Institute. At his stage the catalogue of previous works was shown to the public. On subsequent dates individual exhibition moments were held with guests from the UCSD Library, Journalist/Publicist Michael Flaster and others. By the end of the month of October, student works were in state to be shown to guests visiting the lab.In parallel, the ICST team had an exhibition in the CalIT2 gallery with the multichannel audio installation ‘Aggregat’.This activity was made possible in part by support from the Dean’s Office of the Music Department of UCSD. Main support came from swissnex San Francisco, the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco and the Zurich University of the arts with the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology.
