The artists who have made the Immersive Lab a living platform and experience.
We are a young digital art collective based in Brussels. Cosa Mentale is composed of two people: Célia Bétourné et Louis Cortes.
Specialised in real time, our collective as for aim to create new experiences exploring the aesthetic and immersive potentials of virtual.
This experiences mostly interactive a This experiences mostly interactive are inspired by the numeric matter itself in all that it comports in potentiality of forms, behaviours and expressions. Its infinite forms leads us to think it as an object nearly mystic between autonomous system and an object of fascinating plasticity. Coming originally from the video game, our interaction and technical realisation design methods brings us to serve an experience at the border between generative art and ludic immersion.

Anne Dubos is an anthropologist and a transmedia artist. Her research focuses on both fundamental objects (such as Indian aesthetics, cognition, praxeology) and the design of experimental devices for theater and dance. Since 2005, Anne Dubos traces the study of the history of Indian theaters and highlights the variety of techniques of the body of the actor. In search of new paradigms, she questions today the emergence of new theories on perception of movement and cognition. She founded the company Little Heart Movement, in which dancers, actors, digital artists, engineers, computer scientists, singers, musicians, anthropologists, geographers, architects, psychologists and (bio) mechanics collaborate. In Paris as well as in India, she organizes interdisciplinary workshops where each actor is invited to improvise within a recording device, both as author and as an interpreter of the trace that it forms with its body within the common space of a collective framework narrative.

Nenad Popov is a media anarchist whose interests lie in, or better, between art and plain research. The output of these processes are live cinema pieces, sound installations, film installations, weird sound making contraptions, impossible collaborations and occasional parasitism on public cultural funds. Not just that: huge amount of written code, public and private, interfacing this with that, embodied algorithms, alleged bar fights, organizing workshops and giving classes. He has collaborated with many artists working in similar fields, such as Daan Brinkmann, Electronic Opera, Thomas Köner and Lillevan/Rechenzentrum. Solo performances include Dis- Patch, TodaysArt, E-Pulse and Share. His latest research topics are possibilities of collaborating with non-human entities.
